At Houtsma Pallets, we are committed to energy-efficient and circular operations. Our internal processes are fully aligned with this approach. For example, our forklifts are fully electric and make optimal use of the energy we generate ourselves through our own wind turbines and solar panels.
In addition, we handle our residual wood in a smart and sustainable way: through a wood gasification system, it is converted into energy. The heat generated in this process is reused to warm our facilities and drying chamber.
In this way, we minimize waste and close our energy loops as much as possible. Every day, we continue building a responsible and future-proof business.
